O clube informou que o jogador de 33 anos foi o único do elenco que acabou sendo preservado do treinamento no gramado para poder realizar um trabalho de controle de carga muscular nas dependências internas do CT corintiano.

Com grande histórico de lesões de sua carreira, Renato Augusto vem sendo preservado com frequência durante os períodos de preparação do Timão para as partidas deste Brasileirão. Isso ocorreu, por exemplo, na semana passada, quando o técnico Sylvinho dirigiu cinco atividades visando o confronto com o Internacional, no Beira-Rio, onde sua equipe empatou por 2 a 2, no domingo.

Na capital gaúcha, Renato Augusto esteve em campo durante quase todo o tempo do duelo, no qual foi substituído apenas nos acréscimos da etapa final, aos 47 minutos, quando deu lugar a Jô. E neste finalzinho ele amargou junto com o time o gol marcado pelo Colorado que definiu a igualdade no placar.

A tendência é a de que nesta quarta-feira o meio-campista volte a treinar com o elenco no gramado do CT Joaquim Grava, onde o Corinthians trabalhará novamente no período da tarde, segundo programação divulgada pelo clube.

NOVIDADES NA ESCALAÇÃO NO GOL E NA ZAGA

Para o jogo diante da Chapecoense, o Corinthians não poderá contar com Cássio, suspenso pelo terceiro cartão amarelo. Matheus Donelli, considerado hoje o segundo goleiro do elenco alvinegro, deve ser confirmado por Sylvinho na equipe. O volante Xavier, expulso contra o Inter, também está fora deste próximo duelo e não poderá servir nem como opção de banco desta vez.

Em compensação, o treinador corintiano voltará a contar com o zagueiro João Victor, que cumpriu suspensão na rodada passada. Com isso, Raul Gustavo, que substituiu o defensor no Sul, deverá figurar novamente entre os reservas. Já o substituto do lesionado meia-atacante Willian continua sendo um mistério, já que Adson e Vitinho, escolhidos para ocupar o lugar do titular nas duas últimas partidas, não tiveram sucesso e foram sacados no segundo tempo.

نجح فريق الكرة الأول بنادي النصر السعودي في تحقيق فوز صعب على نظيره الخليج في المباراة التي أقيمت بينهما مساء اليوم بثلاثية مقابل هدف.

وحل النصر ضيفاً ثقيلاً على الخليج، في ملعب الأخير، في إطار مواجهات الجولة السادسة عشر من عمر بطولة الدوري السعودي.

“The way our batters batted, it was amazing to watch, especially all the youngsters – Shafali, Richa, [and] then Harleen in between,” Mandhana said. “The way the built up the partnership and got us to a 150-plus score [was commendable]. I think it was a good total to defend. But, as I said, if we would have done better in the second half of the match… A lot of positives but [there is] a lot of things to work on.”Asked if the 364-day period of almost complete inactivity that preceded the start of the ODI series or the pressure of the T20I format played a part in India’s slip-ups in the field on Sunday, Mandhana said the issue needed addressing at a deeper level.”We cannot keep using that as an excuse. أصدر مجلس إدارة نادي بيراميدز بيانًا رسميًا أعرب فيه عن استيائه الشديد من الأخطاء التحكيمية التي شهدتها مباراة الفريق أمام الأهلي ضمن منافسات الدوري المصري الممتاز.

وأكد البيان أن هذه الأخطاء الفادحة تسببت في خسارة الفريق نقطتين هامتين في مشوار الدوري، بجانب فقدان عدد من لاعبيه بسبب قرارات الحكم وحكام تقنية الفيديو.

وجاء في البيان: “نعرب عن إحباطنا الشديد من مستوى التحكيم خلال مباراة فريقنا ضد الأهلي، حيث شهد اللقاء أخطاء فجة تستوجب التحقيق، خاصة مع حكم تقنية الفيديو محمود عاشور، الذي استدعى الحكم بشكل خاطئ في حالتين؛ الأولى أدت إلى طرد لاعبنا أحمد توفيق ظلمًا، والثانية احتساب ركلة جزاء غير صحيحة. وقد أجمع الجميع على عدم صحة القرارين”.

وأشار البيان إلى تغافل تقنية الفيديو عن حالات تستحق العقوبات على لاعبي الأهلي، أبرزها الاعتداء بالكوع من لاعب الأهلي، إمام عاشور، ضد بلاتي توريه في الدقيقة 57، والتي كانت تستحق الطرد المباشر، وأخرى من المهاجم جراديشار ضد وليد الكرتي في الدقيقة 46.

كما انتقد البيان أداء حكم الساحة محمود البنا، مؤكدًا أنه ارتكب العديد من الأخطاء الفادحة، واستجاب لضغوط تقنية الفيديو، واستخدم سلطته بشكل مبالغ فيه ضد لاعبي بيراميدز من خلال توزيع البطاقات الصفراء، بينما تعامل بلين مع احتجاجات لاعبي الأهلي، وأسفرت قراراته عن غياب أكثر من لاعب من صفوف بيراميدز للإيقاف، ما وصفه النادي بأنه أمر “مقصود للنيل من مسيرة الفريق”.

وتساءل البيان: “لماذا يستمر الاعتماد على حكام تسببوا في مشاكل سابقة؟ ولماذا يتحمل جميع أطراف المنظومة نتائج أخطاء الحكام، بينما لا يُحاسب الحكام أنفسهم؟”.

وطالب مجلس إدارة بيراميدز اتحاد الكرة المصري بسرعة إيجاد حلول جذرية لأزمة التحكيم التي تُثقل كاهل الأندية، داعيًا إلى تحقيق العدالة والمساواة بين جميع الفرق المتنافسة لضمان نزاهة المسابقة.

Signing a centre-forward remains a priority, but with Victor Osimhen seemingly headed to the Saudi Pro League following Chelsea's reluctance to meet his £500k-per-week salary demands, the transfer cannon has been turned toward another Italian province.

Caught Offside have relayed reports that Chelsea are considering moving for Juventus star Federico Chiesa given the fading chances of securing Osimhen's services, with the Old Lady only asking for €15m (£13m).

The Italy international is hoping to sign for Barcelona, but the La Liga side are financially stricken and are struggling to free up space on the wage bill, leaving the door open for Chelsea to complete an audacious hijack.

Chelsea have struggled in the Premier League over the last few years but are starting to build something exciting, and Chiesa would be a brilliant addition, strengthening a vibrant frontline and playing to the strengths of those such as Noni Madueke.

It was a clinical display that showcased the 22-year-old's technique and efficacy on the right of the frontline, and while Nicolas Jackson scored and assisted, he is not consistent or clinical enough to lead the line with little competition – Chiesa, while not a traditional striker, could be that man.

Hailed as a "wizard" with the ball by football personality Roger Bennett, Chiesa is typically regarded as a right winger but was somewhat repackaged into a central focal role last season, following his injury-ruined seasons prior.

Chiesa scored ten goals from 29 starting appearances and impressed with his link-up play and 'magic' ability on the ball, with his creative spark potentially proving to be an exceptional addition to the Chelsea attack, sort of counterbalancing the prolific brilliant of Palmer… and now Madueke too.

Madueke ranks among the top 1% of attacking midfielders and wingers across Europe's top five leagues over the past year for goals scored, the top 3% for progressive carries and the top 11% for successful take-ons per 90, as per FBref.

Observing the statistical analysis from the Juve phenom's viewpoint, his playmaking quality is easily discernible. Chiesa's athleticism and intelligence could see him drop deep and pull strings to emphatic effect, and he must be signed – especially for such a small figure.

Completing a move for Osimhen is not out of the question, but it's looking decidedly unlikely. Chiesa is not cut from the same cloth as the Nigerian but his dynamic properties could work wonders for Chelsea's fluid frontline, most notably hat-trick hero Madueke who could soar to new heights with the Italian next to him.

Sheffield Wednesday have added 11 players to their squad over the course of this summer, as Rohl is keen to avoid a repeat of last season. The club’s latest addition is midfielder Shea Charles, who has joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Premier League side Southampton.

But Wednesday’s business might not be stopping there, as in the past month they have also been linked with a move for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Alfie Devine. It was claimed that the Owls were considering a move for the player, with the preference being a loan deal. The 20-year-old has been with Spurs since 2020, when he joined the club from Wigan Athletic, and has spent time on loan in the second tier before, as he joined Plymouth Argyle last January.

As well as looking to sign Devine, it has also been claimed this month that the Yorkshire side are interested in Brighton player Malick Yalcouye. Yalcouye is set to be loaned out by the Seagulls despite joining the club earlier this summer, and Wednesday are among the clubs interested in taking him on, but face competition from Austrian club Sturm Graz.

Wednesday only have a day left to complete any transfers they have in mind, and it appears that they are still in the market to add at least another two players.

Sheffield Wednesday plot double transfer move

According to The Star, Sheffield Wednesday are still in the market to do more transfer business, despite already adding 11 players to their squad this summer.

The report states that while no names have been mentioned, they are keen to sign another attacker while also adding a ball-playing defender to their squad, which ideally would be a left-footed player. Furthermore, it appears as though their search to fill these voids has taken them to the Premier League loan market, and they are intended to be starting level players, not additions simply for squad depth.

The report states: “The bulk of their work is already done, and it wouldn’t be a monumental shock if no further business were to be done – though in an ideal world The Star understands they would like to. It’s believed another attacker and a ball-playing defender – preferably a left-footed one – are options still being looked at. Specific names, at this stage, are on short supply.”

Sheffield Wednesday have already added Ike Ugbo, Charlie McNeill, and Jamal Lowe to their ranks, who are all players that play in the forward line, but it appears Rohl still wants more in that area of the pitch. Meanwhile, the club have yet to add a centre-back, with the only defensive arrivals being full-backs.

– O Alex (Sandro) fazia o terceiro zagueiro, eu me transformei num meio-campista com o Casemiro, o Paquetá era meia-direita, Neymar meia-esquerda, Raphinha e Vini abertos e o Gabriel como camisa 9. É exatamente a postura do Manchester City do Guardiola faz. Essa leitura é bacana de se fazer, porque aqui dentro também tem um trabalho de muita qualidade e coragem – completou.

Ainda que tenha, como lateral, atuado defensivamente na maior parte do tempo, Danilo rechaça o rótulo de defensiva para a Seleção Brasileira e destacou o trabalho sem bola dos atletas que atuam do meio-campo para trás.

-É uma coisa muito importante no futebol e aqui na Seleção Brasileira, principalmente com o trabalho do Tite, se equipara às grandes ligas do mundo, que é o trabalho sem bola. Os jogadores que não estão envolvidos no momento de ataque têm um trabalho muito importante de pensar o que fazer caso a gente perca a bola. Essa é a mentalidade de jogador grande, de comissão técnica grande, que a gente tem na Seleção Brasileira – explicou Danilo.

– A gente trabalha isso incansavelmente para sempre aprimorar, e faz muita diferença no momento defensivo. Se perdermos a bola no ataque, não sofreremos um contra-ataque perigoso. No momento seguinte, já estamos preparados para roubar a bola o quanto antes. São muitos fundamentos que representam essa solidez defensiva, que muitas vezes é quando temos a bola, se preocupar com o momento seguinte. Jogar sem bola – acrescentou.

A parceria entre Danilo e Alex Sandro vai além de Seleção Brasileira. A dupla trabalhou junto no Santos, entre 2010 e 2011, quando, na mesma janela de transferências, foram negociados com o Porto-POR, em 2019, depois do lateral-direito passar por Real Madrid-ESP e Manchester City-ENG, eles tiveram a oportunidade de se reencontrar na Juventus-ITA.

-Meu entendimento com o Alex (Sandro) é muito grande. Costumo brincar que tô cansado dele. A gente se conhece há muitos anos. Fazer os movimentos de forma simultânea é muito importante para uma equipe que quer jogar dessa forma, então foi muito bacana a gente conseguir replicar um pouco daquilo que fazemos na Juventus, principalmente no ano passado, que jogávamos um pouco diferente na Seleção. Tivemos um resultado legal, a equipe jogou de uma forma mais fluída e isso foi demonstrado em números e resultado – afirmou Danilo.

A Seleção Brasileira faz o seu último jogo em 2021 na próxima terça-feira (16), às 20h30, em San Juan, pelas Eliminatórias para a Copa do Mundo de 2022. Nesta segunda-feira (15), a delegação brasileira fará a sua última atividade no Brasil, no Centro de Treinamentos do Palmeiras.
