أكد ريان جيجز النجم السابق لفريق مانشستر يونايتد أنه ينوي تبرئة اسمه في المحكمة بعد اتهامه بالاعتداء الجسدي على سيدتين.

وكان الادعاء الملكي البريطاني قد اتهم ريان جيجز اليوم بالاعتداء الجسدي العنيف على سيدتين، إحداهن كانت صديقته السابقة.

وينوي جيجز المثول أمام المحكمة البريطانية يوم 28 أبريل الجاري (لمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا).

وقرر الاتحاد الويلزي لكرة القدم نتيجة لذلك استبعاد ريان جيجز من تدريب المنتخب في فترة يورو الصيف المقبل (لمطالعة التفاصيل من هنا).

وقال جيجز في بيان نشرته صحيفة “مترو” الإنجليزية: “أحترم الإجراءات القانونية الواجبة وأتفهم جدية المزاعم، أنا أحترم تمامًا الإجراءات القانونية وأتفهم خطورة الادعاء”.

واختتم: “سأدفع ببراءتي في المحكمة وأتطلع إلى تبرئة اسمي”.

It’s seemingly becoming a regular occurrence for West Ham fans now to see Declan Rice called up to the England squad, and the 21-year-old midfielder is again back with the Three Lions this month.

The 6 foot 1 West Ham star was called up yet again to Gareth Southgate’s England squad for their upcoming international games against Montenegro and Kosovo (per the FA’s official website), with Rice retaining his place in the team despite the Hammers suffering some fairly poor form in October that saw the east London side fail to win a single game (per BBC Sport).

And it is because of this form that made West Ham fans on social media confused as to why Rice still kept his spot in the England team, with the defensive midfielder playing every minute in October, as stats from Transfermarkt show, that saw the Hammers slip to 13th in the Premier League table (per the Premier League’s official website).

Lots of Tottenham Hotspur fans have been lauding the idea of Julian Nagelsmann replacing Mauricio Pochettino, after Football FanCast revealed that Spurs Chairman Daniel Levy is keen on hiring the RB Leipzig boss.

Levy is not currently expected to call time on Pochettino’s tenure in North London despite the Argentine taking just one league win in nearly two months, which has left Spurs 14th in the Premier League standings and 11 points adrift of the top-four.

However, sources familiar with Tottenham’s recruitment believe that Levy is exploring what options are available should he have to take action, and is “all over” moving for Nagelsmann if things go “belly up” in North London.

Nagelsmann only joined Leipzig this summer following three years with TSG Hoffenheim, but has guided the Red Bull-owned outfit to second in the Bundesliga table and entered the international break above Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Fans would seemingly love the idea of the 32-year-old being the next man in charge of Tottenham, going by some of the reactions shared online, with one supporter suggesting the German would be the ideal candidate to take the North Londoners to the next level.

Nagelsmann clinched the German U19 Bundesliga title with Hoffenheim’s youth side in 2013/14, and later helped the first-team achieve their best top-flight finish in 2017/18 while booking a place in the following term’s Champions League.

Leeds United’s squad is packed full of loanees.

The Whites have six temporary players on the books at the moment, and while that strategy of loaning players seems to be working as multiple members are enjoying successful spells at Elland Road, there’s always a downside to using this strategy.

Indeed, loaning players leaves you open to having some of your key men recalled once the January transfer window opens, and there has been plenty of speculation around the possibility of that happening to one man.

Eddie Nketiah hasn’t started a league game for Leeds yet this term, and he’s been more than happy to voice his complaints about that fact.

This has led to a number of fans worrying about Nketiah being recalled, and Phil Hay didn’t rule out the chance of the striker returning to Arsenal when he spoke about him in a Q&A session on Sunday.

The journalist was asked about Leeds’ January transfer window and part of his response was about the possibility of Nketiah being recalled.

“The one issue here is Nketiah – will he stay or will Arsenal choose to recall him? He hasn’t played much and he’s missing a few weeks now through injury. If he was to leave, I’d absolutely expect Leeds to search for a replacement.” Hay wrote.

It seems that the main issue that could cause the striker to return to London is his lack of playing time, but Marcelo Bielsa shouldn’t change his plans in order to appease the player or his parent club.

The Argentine has rarely put a foot wrong since taking charge of Leeds last summer, and he shouldn’t allow his strategy to be affected by an unhappy striker who wants to play more.

If Bielsa thinks Patrick Bamford is the better option most weeks he’s probably right, and while that may frustrate Nketiah, the team’s pursuit of promotion has to come first.

After all, the manager’s faith in the former Middlesbrough paid off last time out as he bagged from the penalty spot, ending a run of ten games without finding the back of the net.

It’s clear the 64-year-old doesn’t trust Nketiah and that is unlikely to change while he has time off through injury.

For Nketiah, the water may now become even murkier in terms of his future at Elland Road.

وحسب صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، فإن تدريبات النادي الأندلسي الجماعية، اليوم الأربعاء، شهدت غياب الثنائي راكيتيتش وكوندي.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أنّ راكيتيتش تدرب بمفرده داخل صالة الألعاب الرياضية (الجيم) للتغلب على الانزعاج العضلي الذي يُعاني منه، فيما يُعاني كوندي من كدمة في القدم.

وأوضحت أنّه ليس من المعروف ما إذا كان الثنائي سيلحقان بمواجهة الأحد ضد ريال مدريد أم لا، ولكن هناك إمكانية لـ راكيتيتش أنّ يتواجد في مباراة الأحد، إذا عاد إلى التدريبات يوم الجمعة.

Cristiano Ronaldo is a man who loves a good challenge and so far, he is yet to find one that can beat him.

His stay at Juventus, however, was not a complete success, at least for now.

Sure the Portuguese superstar has helped the Bianconeri get the Scudetto last season but that’s not anything particularly new at the club. The bigger goal is, of course, the Champions League, a title they haven’t won since 1996.

But if the recent reports coming from Eduardo Inda, who was a guest for Chiringuito de Jugones (via OKDiario), are true, Ronaldo might be contemplating a return to Manchester United next summer if Juventus fail to conquer Europe in 2019/20.

Of course, he has a great history with the Red Devils, seeing how he donned their colours from 2003 until 2009 when he joined the Galacticos in the Spanish capital.

Ronaldo was extremely successful at Old Trafford as he managed to bag 118 goals and assist a further 69 in a total of 292 games for the English side, winning three Premier League crowns and one Champions League trophy along the way.

But even though losing such a big figure could potentially affect any side, Juventus could actually benefit from it in a way.

Ronaldo is already 34 years of age and not getting any younger and keeping him for too long could potentially become a costly exercise.

After all, despite his obvious pedigree and skill, the Portuguese superstar has fallen off just a tiny bit.

This season, he only has six goals and two assists in 14 games across all competitions and has been subbed off in his last two fixtures.

Of course, he is still a huge brand for the Bianconeri but having Ronaldo in your team definitely costs money, and having an underperforming Ronaldo might cost even more.

This is not to say that he is completely finished already and it’s entirely possible he suddenly picks up his form and ends up bagging dozens of goals by the end of the campaign.

For him, it would obviously be routine at this point in time, but can Juventus really take that chance? Especially with the emergence of Paulo Dybala and some other young targets on their radar.

When everything is said and done, shipping Ronaldo off next summer might as well be like dodging a bullet that was bound to hit them sooner or later.

As for Manchester United, they are in a different position altogether.

The Red Devils will hardly be focusing on Champions League glory and having someone like Ronaldo would definitely boost them immensely, both on and off the pitch with the fond memories supporters will have of him, as well as his continued commercial attraction.

Just recently, ESPN reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is on a lookout for a more experienced forward for his attacking line who can guarantee him goals.

Well, there’s hardly anyone better on the planet in that regard than Ronaldo himself.

For that reason, United just might be hoping Juventus fail in the Champions League so they can get their hands on the Portuguese superstar once again.

في ضوء ما أثير مؤخرًا ببعض وسائل الإعلام و التواصل الاجتماعى حول انتخابات الاتحادات والأندية الرياضية والمقرر إجراؤها خلال الفترة المقبلة نفت وزارة الشباب والرياضة وجود أية قرارات أو ضوابط جديدة تتعلق بعقد الجمعيات العمومية وإجراء الانتخابات في موعدها.

وأكد الدكتور أشرف صبحى وزير الشباب والرياضة أن الوزارة ملتزمة بتنفيذ القرارات المنظمة لإجراءات وضوابط مواجهة كورونا التي تصدر عن لجنة الأزمات بمجلس الوزراء برئاسة معالى السيد الدكتور مصطفى مدبولي رئيس مجلس الوزراء وبناء على تقارير رسمية ترفع من وزارة الشباب والرياضة ، وبما في ذلك ما يتعلق باجتماعات الجمعيات العمومية وما تتضمنه من إجراء للانتخابات سواء في الاتحادات أو الأندية الرياضية.

وأضاف أن الوزارة حريصة على استقرار كافة الهيئات الرياضية وتهيئة الأجواء المناسبة لها من خلال التنسيق المستمر مع اللجنة الأوليمبية المصرية وجميع الهيئات الرياضية في كافة التفاصيل والضوابط والإجراءات الخاصة بإقامة وإجراءات إقامة الجمعيات العمومية وانتخابات الاتحادات والأندية الرياضية من خلال رصد وتتبع والالتزام بكافة قرارات وضوابط لجنة الأزمات بمجلس الوزراء فيما يتعلق بإجراءات مواجهة كورونا في مصر.

ذكرت تقارير صحفية أنّ نادي ليفربول الإنجليزي، قد أبرم بالفعل أولى صفقاته بشأن نافذة الانتقالات الصيفية القادمة، بالتوصل إلى اتفاق مع المدافع الفرنسي إبراهيما كوناتي، لاعب لايبزيج الألماني.

ليفربول دخل في مفاوضات مع كوناتي، من أجل ضمه، لتقوية صفوفه الدفاعية في الموسم المُقبل.

وحسب الصحفي الإيطالي “فابريزيو رومانو”، بشبكة “سكاي سبورتس” العالمية، فإن كوناتي لديه اتفاق مع ليفربول حتى يونيو 2026.

كوناتي لديه شرط جزائي قدره 30 مليون جنيه إسترليني، وليفربول يعمل على ضمه بمبلغ أقل قليلًا.

كوناتي هذا الموسم مع لايبزيج، خاض 20 مباراة بمُختلف المُسابقات، وتمكن صاحب الـ”21″ عامًا من تسجيل هدف وحيد.
