Com o gol anotado em Santiago, Igor Jesus se tornou o primeiro jogador do Botafogo desde Bebeto, em 1998, a balançar as redes pela Seleção. Ao todo, com a camisa alvinegra, são sete gols e uma assistência no ano, tendo chegado no primeiro dia de julho ao clube.

أكد بيدري جونزاليس، لاعب برشلونة الإسباني، أن الحصول على الراحة أمر مهم، لكنه يفضل التواجد في الملعب والمشاركة مع الفريق، متحدثًا عن موسمه المزدحم بالمباريات على الصعيد المحلي والدولي.

بيدري كان من بين أكثر اللاعبين المشاركين في الموسم الماضي بواقع 75 مباراة رسمية بين دوري 2020-21 وكأس الملك وكأس السوبر الإسباني ودوري أبطال أوروبا وكأس أوروبا والألعاب الأولمبية وحتى اليومين الأولين من دوري 2021-22، ثم منحه مدربه رونالد كومان إجازة للراحة.

وتحدث بيدري في إطار مساهمته بحملة لتوزيع المواد الغذائية في برشلونة، لمساعدة الأشخاص المحتاجين.

وقال بيدري في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية: “أفضل أن أكون في الملعب، لأن الوضع أسوأ وأنا لا ألعب، أريد حقًا أن أبدأ بالمشاركة”.

وأضاف: “صحيح أن الراحة مهمة، لكن الحقيقة هي أنك عندما تستريح لمدة ثلاثة أو أربعة أيام، فأنت تريد بالفعل العودة إلى الملعب والاستمتاع بما تحبه أكثر”.

فيما يتعلق بالموسم الحالي، أكد بطل كأس ملك إسبانيا 2020-21 مع برشلونة، والفائز بالميدالية الفضية في دورة ألعاب طوكيو الأولمبية مع إسبانيا: “سنستعد بنفس الطريقة، ننظر إلى الأمام، أنا حريص على مواصلة النمو”.

فيما يتعلق بمباريات تصفيات كأس العالم التي خاضتها إسبانيا هذا الشهر، فإن بيدري واثق من أن المنتخب الوطني سيصل إلى كأس العالم وأتم: “كنا نعلم أن الأمر لن يكون سهلًا ونحن نشهده، وأن جميع الفرق تتنافس وهذا هو الحال، من الصعب التغلب عليهم جميعًا، لكن أعتقد أنه بإمكاننا التأهل”.

Harvey Elliott is one of the Liverpool prodigies that are still fairly fresh at the club, having only arrived in the summer of 2019 and still working hard to prove his worth to Jurgen Klopp and his troops at Anfield.

But that still doesn’t take anything away from the fact he is among the highest-rated rising stars within their academy as he’s currently plying his trade for their U23 squad. His professional career, however, started with Fulham and he enjoyed success with them before moving over to the Merseyside last year.

Elliott spent some time clawing through the Cottagers’ ranks, featuring both for their U18 and U23 squads – tallying five goals and four assists in 19 games for the former and one assist across six games for the latter – before making his senior debut with the team.

And that was a huge milestone for the young lad since he was only 16 years and 30 days when he came on as a substitute against Wolverhampton Wanderers, breaking a Premier League record in the process as well.

He could only muster three appearances for the seniors, however, before Liverpool swooped in and scooped up the young talent, making him one of the Reds. Since then, he’s been a regular presence in their U18 and U23 squads and is still formally registered in the latter team despite already making his mark with the seniors.

Three goals and four assists with the U23 team do suggest he’s already acclimatising to his new surroundings and a total of seven senior appearances are further proof of that as well.

He made his senior Liverpool debut by starting the League Cup tie at MK Dons on September 25 and his Premier League bow arrived not long after that as he featured as a substitute against Sheffield United at Anfield on January 2.

Transfer latest

Probably the biggest Liverpool news that’s currently out there for Elliott is the fact that he is reportedly set to sign a new, long-term contract in the following summer that should tie him down with the club until at least 2023.

Of course, this does suggest he is at Anfield for the long run and the upper hierarchy believe that his talent could blossom into something truly beautiful in the future.

And even if there were some transfer rumours around him at the moment, considering that that would not really be such a shock since he’s only 17 after all, just the fact that Klopp has given him seven chances with the senior team does suggest no such thing will happen or it at least makes it less likely.

Transfer rumours are bound to come by eventually but if his appearances and sheer talent are any indications at all, he should be pretty safe at Anfield for the time being.

Player profile

In the day and age when wingers come in different shapes and sizes, Elliott looks set to become a more traditional wide man as opposed to following the new trends. We can say that because of his tendency to stay true to his wide positioning on the right side where he likes to hug the touchline and help his team stretch the opposition backline.

This is not to say that he is limited to only that particular role but he does excel at it, which makes it much easier to perform. But he is also a highly intelligent player who can become Liverpool’s creative playmaker from the wider areas.

Of course, this is further emphasised by his excellent dribbling abilities as he can boast with 2.67 dribbles per 90 minutes with an impressive 63% success rate. The main part, however, is in the fact that he can use his dribbles in the final third and in congested and tight areas to create space for himself and his teammates.

This makes him invaluable in both isolated scenarios and when his team faces a deep and compact block in front of them. The area in which we should expect him to improve the most, however, is the shooting and finishing.

While he is already a creative spark at Liverpool, we are yet to see him rattle the inside of the net for the seniors and he only averaged 1.28 shots per 90 minutes in 2019/20 with 46.2% of them hitting the target.

كشفت تقارير صحفية تركية أن نادي جالطة سراي توصل إلى اتفاق مع لاعب فريق آرسنال محمد النني على الظفر بخدماته في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي لهذا العام.

ورغم انتهاء فترة الانتقالات الصيفية في معظم دول أوروبا بحلول يوم الأربعاء الماضي، إلا إنها ما زالت مستمرة في تركيا حتى يوم الغد.

وارتبط محمد النني بخطوة الرحيل عن آرسنال هذا الصيف، لكونه ليس جزءً من الخطط الأساسية للمدرب مايكل أرتيتا في ملعب الإمارات.

وذكرت تقارير في الفترة الأخيرة أن جالطة سراي يتنافس على التعاقد مع محمد النني، ودخل في مفاوضات مع آرسنال بالفعل، ولكن دون التوصل إلى أي اتفاق.

وحسب شبكة “ajansspor” التركية، فإن مسؤولي جالطة سراي تواصلوا مع محمد النني وممثليه، لبحث إمكانية الحصول على خدماته هذا الصيف.

وأوضحت أن إدارة النادي التركي نجحت في التوصل إلى اتفاق مع اللاعب المصري حول الشروط الشخصية لصفقة انتقاله إلى الفريق.

وأفادت أن الاتفاق يتضمن عقدًا لمدة 4 سنوات، بقيمة 2 مليون و250 ألف يورو، إلى جانب مكافأة قدرها 250 ألف يورو حال خوض النني 10 مباريات مع الفريق التركي.

وأشارت إلى إنه من ناحية أخرى، يحاول جالطة سراي التوصل إلى اتفاق مع آرسنال حول ضم محمد النني مجانًا، ولكن النادي الإنجليزي رفض ذلك الاقتراح.

وذكرت أنه رغم ذلك، فإن المفاوضات ما زالت جارية بين الناديين في الوقت الحالي، حيث من المرجح أن تتم صفقة الانتقال قبل انتهاء الميركاتو.

ووفقًا للشبكة نفسها، فإن وكيل اللاعبين الشهير ويليام دافيلا، يُعد جزءً من مفاوضات جالطة سراي مع محمد النني، مع العلم أنه سبق وأنجز العديد من الصفقات لصالح النادي التركي.

ويشعر دافيلا بحالة من الثقة تجاه إمكانية إتمام صفقة انتقال محمد النني إلى جالطة سراي بنجاح.

Reports in recent days have suggested that Newcastle’s proposed takeover could be officially completed very soon, and naturally, there have been suggestions that the Saudi-backed consortium have got their own managerial targets lined up – the likes of Mauricio Pochettino and Massimiliano Allegri have been among the names to have been mentioned.

Now, after a post from NUFCgallowgate on Twitter suggested that they have a feeling Bruce may be kept on, The Telegraph journalist Luke Edwards added that despite him signing a three-year contract, the new owners may look to replace him.

With new owners potentially coming in, it’s understandable for them to want to put their own stamp on things.

And unfortunately for Bruce, he simply doesn’t possess the kind of name or reputation that a manager like Pochettino or Allegri does.

But if given the chance to continue until the end of the season, Bruce may fancy his chances of impressing the owners enough to keep him.

O zagueiro teve lesão na coxa esquerda e precisou ser substituído por Adryelson na decisão, e entrou no lugar do angolano contra o Alviverde. O defensor, que era titular no ano passado, marcou um dos gols da importante vitória contra o Palmeiras.

Apesar de não ter sido uma das opções de Artur Jorge, Bastos viajou com a delegação para Buenos Aires. No treinamento, realizado na véspera da final, ele ficou entregue à fisioterapia e sequer foi a campo.

Recuperado de um trauma na face, o lateral-esquerdo Jorge voltou a treinar no Ninho do Urubu, na manhã desta quarta-feira. Ele deu voltas ao redor do gramado e brincou com a imprensa: ‘Não morri, não’.

O camisa 6 deu um susto nos companheiros no treino de segunda-feira. Ele levou a pior numa disputa de bola e caiu se queixando com muitas dores. Jorge chegou a ficar desacordado por alguns segundos, mas não houve maiores problemas. Ele foi inicialmente avaliado no Ninho do Urubu e depois levado para um hospital na Barra da Tijuca, onde realizou uma série de exames. Como nada de grave foi constatado, o jogador foi liberado. Na terça-feira, ele foi ao Ninho para ser reavaliado e recebeu o carinho dos funcionários do clube, inclusive do técnico Muricy Ramalho.

O Flamengo ainda não informou se Jorge terá condições de jogo no sábado, contra o Boavista, pela Taça Guanabara. Caso não possa atuar, ele será substituído por Chiquinho.

أكد اليوناني تاكيس جونياس، المدير الفني الأسبق لنادي بيراميدز، أنه سيتوج ببطولة الدوري المصري إذا تولى تدريب الأهلي والزمالك.

وكان جونياس تولى تدريب بيراميدز بداية من 29 يونيو الماضي، خلفًا للمدير الفني الأرجنتيني رودلفو أروابارينا، ولكن إدارة بيراميدز وجهت له الشكر عقب نهاية الدوري المصري الموسم المنقضي.

وأضاف تاكيس جونياس خلال استضافته ببرنامج “أوضة اللبس” المُذاع عبر قناة “النهار”: “لو دربت الأهلي أو الزمالك سأستطيع أن أحصل على بطولة بالدوري، وإذا كنت استمريت مع بيراميدز لنافست على الفوز بالدوري”.

وبسؤاله “هل حدثت مفاوضات بينك وبين الأهلي والزمالك؟”، رد قائلًا: “لكي نتجنب أي مشاكل الفريقين لديهم مدربين جيدين جدًا، الزمالك لديه كارتيرون وهو صديقي، ناجح جدًا وفاز بالدوري بعد غياب 6 سنوات، وهذا عمل رائع من جانبه”.

تابع: “موسيماني مدرب ممتاز وأعتقد أن مشكلته الكبيرة هي المباريات المستمرة، الأهلي وبيراميدز كان لديهم جدول مباريات متلاحق، وهذه مشكلة الأهلي الأولى”.

وواصل: “الزمالك استحق الفوز بالدوري عن جدارة وكارتيرون قدم عمل هائل مع الفريق، وكانت مشكلة الأهلي هي تلاحق المباريات وكانت من أهم أسباب خسارة الأهلي للدوري”.

وبسؤاله “هل بيراميدز لديه مشكلة في غرفة الملابس بين اللاعبين؟”، قال: “قبل أن أتولى مسؤولية بيراميدز لا أعلم، ولكن وهم معي سيطرت على غرفة الملابس، والأجواء كانت هائلة بين اللاعبين الصغار والكبار”.

وعن رأيه في تعيين كيروش لتدريب منتخب مصر، قال: “مدرب رائع جدًا ومن أفضل المدربين في أوروبا، تاريخ كبير في كرة القدم، وأعتقد أنه أفضل حل للمنتخب المصري في التوقيت الحالي”.

Former Rangers boss Mark Warburton has lauded Chelsea prospect Billy Gilmour and has tipped a bright future ahead of him.

The 19-year-old spent his youth career with the Scottish side before the Blues came knocking. Gilmour rose through the Rangers academy system and eventually signed for Chelsea aged 15 (via Sky Sports). At the time, the youngster had already trained alongside Warburton’s first team, and he was keen to keep him at the club.

“David Weir and I went to his house to try and keep him for Rangers,” the now Queens Park Rangers boss told the Daily Mail. “We spent time with his mum and dad, but when the big boys come calling, it’s tough.”

He went on to describe Gilmour’s talent as ‘unquestioned’ and thinks big things are coming his way.

The midfielder has notched up two goals and four assists in Chelsea’s reserve side this season and has featured three times for the senior team (via Transfermarkt). His debut came against Sheffield United at the start of the campaign and he has since played against Crystal Palace and Everton.

Gilmour also represents Scotland in an U21 capacity and Warburton doesn’t expect it to be long before he’s shining on the main international stage with his country.

“What a talent. I think Scotland have a future world-class midfield player, I really do.” Particularly under Frank Lampard, who has so far got the best out of other youngsters such as Mason Mount and Tammy Abraham, Gilmour will undoubtedly let his true potential erupt.
