وقال إريك جارسيا في تصريحات نشرتها صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية: “أعتقد أننا بدأنا المباراة بشكل جيد، كان لدينا إيقاع، ثم دخلنا بالرغبة في تسجيل هدف وفقدنا السيطرة، بدأنا الشوط الثاني بشكل جيد، لكن بعد الهدف أغلقوا على أنفسهم، ودافعوا”.

وأضاف: “عندما يسجلون هدفًا، فإنك تخاطر بترك المساحات، لقد أتيحت لهم 3 فرص، ولكن كان لدينا عدد قليل من الفرص أيضًا”.

وواصل: “الهدف في بداية الشوط الثاني كان له تأثيرًا علينا، لكن لدينا مباراة أخرى يوم الخميس ستكون صعبة للغاية”.

واستكمل: “علينا أن نركز على أنفسنا ونخرج ونفوز في كل مباراة، أعتقد أن الفريق خرج للمباراة بشكل جيد للغاية، لا أعتقد أن ما حدث يوم الخميس الماضي أثر علينا، اليوم لم ترد الكرة الدخول”.

وكان برشلونة قد خسر يوم الخميس الماضي أمام آينتراخت فرانكفورت في إياب ربع نهائي الدوري الأوروبي بنتيجة 3-2، ليودع البطولة.

يُذكر أن برشلونة سيلتقي يوم الخميس المقبل مع ريال سوسيداد في منافسات الليجا.

O Cruzeiro começou a partida de maneira avassaladora. Na primeira chegada, Sóbis contou com a falha de Labilá e abriu o placar e sua noite dourada no Mineirão. Depois, Arrascaeta recebeu e cruzou para Thiago Neves marcar, mas o assistente invalidou erradamente. Após ter mais um lance invalidado equivocadamente, a Raposa ampliou após cruzamento de Diogo Barbosa e finalização precisa de Robinho, 2 a 0. Soberano na partida, a equipe celeste ampliou novamente com Sóbis após rebote de Labilá em finalização de Thiago Neves, 3 a 0.

O meia novamente apareceu para dar o passe perfeito e Rafael Sóbis só completou para o fundo do gol. A segunda etapa começou com o ritmo lento. Como no primeiro tempo, a primeira chegada foi da Raposa, que marcou o sexto com Arrascaeta, mas Robinho estava impedido na origem da jogada. Com estreia quase perfeita, Thiago Neves saiu aplaudido para a entrada de Alisson. O meia teve a chance de marcar após invadir a área mas parou em Labilá.

No minuto seguinte, Lucas Silva encheu o pé, Labilá espalmou e no rebote do travessão, o uruguaio Arrascaeta marcou o último gol da partida, 6 a 0. Novamente Alisson teve a chance de deixar o seu na goleada mas parou em Labilá novamente. Na última chance da partida, Sóbis recebeu na área, conseguiu um belo giro e só não fez seu quinto gol pois a bola subiu e passou por cima do gol do São Francisco.

The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath has revealed that Aston Villa midfielder Douglas Luiz is attracting transfer interest from elsewhere.

What’s the story?

Reports in recent months had initially suggested that Premier League champions Manchester City were contemplating exercising their buy-back clause on the Brazilian, but that has not been the case.

However, now, McGrath has claimed that Serie A giants AS Roma have entered the fray, with former Spurs boss Jose Mourinho keen to lure him to Italy this summer.

Speaking last summer, The Athletic journalist Gregg Evans, said of him: “He’s an absolute joy to watch now and I never thought I would be saying that. Villa have got a fantastic player in Douglas Luiz now, he looks like an absolute star, he could have played in that Man United team.

“He was better than (Paul) Pogba, I thought. I thought he was brilliant, hardly did anything wrong, hardly put a foot wrong. He won so many interceptions and made so many important blocks. When he gets the ball, he passes it nicely. He’s the best player in that Villa team at the moment because it’s just not working for John McGinn.”

The 23-year-old has been a virtual ever-present for Villa since his arrival, making 76 appearances for the first-team and playing 33 out of the 38 Premier League games just last season.

His form even earned him international honours, picking up his first couple of senior caps for Brazil, and so it’s been no surprise that his market value has now risen to £31.5m according to Transfermarkt.

And, in a recent poll done by FFC, 73% of Villa fans who answered said that they would not sell Luiz this summer (179 votes to 66) – an indication of just how concerning it would be were the Brazilian to make the move to Roma.

McGrath’s update may have Villa fans worried at the prospect of him leaving.

We are coming cloeer to the start of the 2021/22 campaign, yet the Wearsiders do not appear to be in the best position for the August kick-off. They have lost several players lately, including Josh Scowen, Grant Leadbitter and Max Power (The Northern Echo), while Charlie Wyke appears to be closing in on a move to Celtic (Football Insider). Not only that, they are yet to make a single summer signing as Lee Johnson’s side attempt to earn promotion to the Championship.

However, it does seem that they at least have some targets in mind. As per Spanish outlet Sport Cartagena, Sunderland are interested in signing 26-year-old midfielder Aburjania this summer. He has 22 caps for his country and currently plays in the Spanish second tier with Cartagena.

With just the final day’s play left, North Zone needed just 111 runs to seal their victory with as many as nine second innings wickets in hand.In the morning, North, who resumed at 288 for seven, were again well served by the overnight batsmen Akash Chopra and Sarandeep Singh. The duo, who had added an unbeaten 90 runs by stumps on the second day, realised a further 60 runs before Chopra was dismissed for a patient 143 off 293 balls.Rahul Sanghvi, who replaced him, did not last long, being out for just four, but next man Shakti Singh proved an able ally for Sarandeep. With Singh proving his in an aggressive cameo of 23 off 24 balls, which included three fours and one towering six, and Sarandeep also scoring the runs, North went past the Central first innings score of 368 with some ease. The ninth wicket partnership yielded 47 runs before Shakti Singh fell to Central’s most successful bowler, Jai P Yadav.With only last man Vineet Sharma for company, Sarandeep decided to go for his shots in a desperate attempt to reach the cherished three-figure mark. وعن العروض تحدث: “باذن الله هناك خبر جيد قريبًا، وأمتلك أكثر من عرض من بينها نادي الزمالك لكن الأمر في يد مجلس إدارة طلائع الجيش، نظرًا لارتباطي بتعاقد معه”.
