O América-MG vive seus últimos dias de preparação para o retorno aos gramados. Na terceira semana de treinamentos após a pausa para a Copa do Mundo, o Coelho se prepara para o importante duelo pelo Campeonato Brasileiro frente ao Cruzeiro, na próxima semana. Partida essa que será marcada pela estreia do técnico Ricardo Drubscky frente ao clube mineiro.

Durante o período de treinamentos, a equipe jogou e venceu dois jogos-treino que estavam na programação da comissão técnica. Titular e capitão da equipe, o zagueiro Matheus Ferraz destacou a intensa preparação do elenco para a sequência da competição.

– Nossa preparação tem sido muito boa e proveitosa. A gente sabe da importância de voltar bem após essa pausa, por isso todos estão muito focados. O campeonato já voltará a todo vapor e devemos estar preparados para não deixar cair o ritmo – destacou

A equipe alviverde jogará seus dois próximos jogos fora de casa diante de Cruzeiro e Paraná. Sabendo da importância de somar pontos em um campeonato do pontos corridos, Matheus acredita que o time deve ter uma postura mais agressiva jogando longe da Arena Independência.

– Dentro do Brasileiro é muito importante vencer em casa, pois as partidas que são fora tendem a ser mais dificeis pelo volume imposto pelo adversário. Cabe a nós manter a concentração e buscar uma postura mais agressiva para conseguir somar o maior número de pontos. Fará diferença no final. – finalizou

Cruzeiro e América-MG se enfrentam na próxima quinta-feira, no estádio Mineirão, às 19h30, pela décima terceira rodada do Campeonato Brasileiro.

India’s series win is their third against West Indies at home after their 1-0 win in 1978 and 2-0 win in 2002.

The innings victory is only the second for India against West Indies. The previous one came in Mumbai in 2002.

West Indies’ innings defeat is their 11th in Tests since 2000. In contrast, between 1980 and 1995, they suffered just two innings defeats.

West Indies’ total of 463 is their highest second-innings total against India going past the 443 for 7 scored in Kanpur in 1958. On that occasion, West Indies won by 203 runs.

Darren Bravo scored his second century in 12 Tests to go with six half-centuries. His stats after 12 matches (941 runs at 47.05) are exactly the same as Brian Lara’s numbers after 12 matches.

The 132-run stand between Bravo and Marlon Samuels is seventh on the list of fifth-wicket stands for West Indies in India.

Samuels’ 84 is his third-highest score against India and his first half-century in nine innings. His previous half-century came against India in Barbados when he made 78.

At the other end Bravo went strong. With the new ball likely to travel faster, his strike-rate improved too. Against the new ball, he went from 67 to 100 in 35 balls. Damien Wright, the New Zealand bowling coach, knows Bellerive Oval intimately. As the leading first-class wicket-taker at the venue, he is well aware of how hard it is for batsmen in the morning. Six wickets fell before lunch on each of the first two days, and seven in the opening session on the third day. New Zealand need a similar start on Monday if they are to win a Test in Australia for the first time since 1985.After they closed the second day in a strong position thanks to outstanding bowling from Chris Martin, Trent Boult and Doug Bracewell, New Zealand lost their advantage on Sunday. They set Australia 241 for victory, a challenging but not unreachable target, and then struggled to find the same rhythm with the ball that they had in the first innings, leaving Australia at 0 for 72.”We have to turn up tomorrow and start really well with the ball,” Wright said. “There’s been a little bit of assistance in the wicket throughout the game. We know that’s going to be there in the morning. Bellerive traditionally over the years always offers a little bit in the morning. It’s really important for us to come tomorrow and break this partnership, to start with, and take early wickets. There’s a little bit of variable bounce and we’re hoping that plays a part in the morning.”The guys bowled really, really well [in the first innings]. All four of them did a great job. Unfortunately in this innings we certainly haven’t started the way we would have like to. We’ve been a bit off our lengths and overpitched a little bit. But this one is swinging, so let’s hope we keep this one.”Only 53.3 overs were bowled on the third day due to rain, but those overs that were completed couldn’t have gone much better for Australia. He said Australia had been intent on building pressure on New Zealand early in order to break into the lower order, and by the close of the day Australia found themselves in a strong position to push for victory.”Day three is always a massive day in a Test match,” Haddin said. “I thought the way we presented ourselves in the first session was world-class after being a bit flat going into the last session yesterday. Ganho de confiança necessário

أعلن الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم برئاسة جمال علام، عن تلقيه الرد من الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم “فيفا” بشأن أزمة قيد صفقات نادي الزمالك الشتوية.

وقال اتحاد الكرة في بيان رسمي نشره عبر حسابه الرسمي بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي “فيس بوك”: “تلقى الاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم الرد الخاص بالاستفسار عن صحة إجراءات قيد لاعبي نادي الزمالك، خلال فترة القيد الشتوية الأخيرة”.

وأضاف: “وجاء الرد من الاتحاد الدولي لكرة القدم بأنه شأن داخلي، وعلى الاتحاد المصري مسؤولية التأكد من اتخاذ الزمالك الإجراءات الضرورية قبل غلق القيد”.

وأتم: “وبناء على رد فيفا والطلب المقدم من الزمالك للجنة التظلمات، جاري إحالة الأمر إلى اللجنة، برئاسة المستشار عادل الشوربجي، للفحص والرد”.

وكان الزمالك قد أبرم خلال فترة الانتقالات الشتوية الماضية 3 صفقات إلا أنه فشل في قيدهم، إذ تعاقد مع المغربي أحمد بلحاج من نادي أسوان على سبيل الإعارة، وناصر منسي مهاجم البنك الأهلي، بجانب قطع إعارة المدافع محمود شبانة من نادي سموحة.

وأبدى مسؤولو اتحاد الكرة رفضهم قيد اللاعبين خلال الوقت المحدد، بسبب عدم دفع مديونيات مستحقة على نادي الزمالك.
